I am so very sorry for your loss. Blessed to have met him and experience his kind heartedness. Sending hugs and prayers!💖
Bill and I met in 1999 when we started carpooling from St Clair to Detroit every day. Try as he might, he wanted to teach me about all thing sports. I learned just enough to engage him in conversation on the days when he was driving to keep him alert! Bill was a dear friend and one of the finest persons I have ever known. I believe I never saw him happier than when he met Michelene. I am so glad that Bill and Michelene had so many trips and happy memories in the last few years. A life well-lived to be sure. Rest In Peace dear friend.
My sincere condolences to the Woodard Family and especially to Michelene and her family for the great loss of Bill. He truly had become a part of Michelene's family and I know he was so delighted to have so many little grandchildren to play with and love. Although I didn't see him frequently I enjoyed so much the time we spent together and was looking forward to becoming his "sister-in-law" in July. He was truly a kind and generous man with a big heart. He will be missed. A gift has been made to the Quest For Breath Fund in his memory.
Bill "Woody" was a good friend for many years and we miss him very much. God Bless.

Bill and I have been friends since high school in the early 60's. We played on the tennis team together. We belonged to DeMolay. We never lost track of one another, spoke often, and attended many class reunions together. Michelene, I am so sorry we'll be unable to meet this summer to celebrate your wedding. May God's healing hands touch your family, give you comfort and peace, and help you all to remember his wonderful life, and the blessing he's been to us all. He was a wonderful man, and will be missed by all of us who knew and loved him so much.
My deepest sympathy's,
Scott Palmer
