Ruthann Ellis will always warm our hearts as the kindness that she has shown us over the years is kindled in our spirits forever. From 1976, when Kathy and Sarah first met at Michigan State University, and later shared an apartment, Ruthann welcomed me as a daughter into her home in St. Clair. May we all spread as much love and compassion as Mrs. Ellis has during her time in this world. May God bless and keep all of her family and friends.##imported-begin##Sarah and Philippe Laurens##imported-end##
Susan, I am sorry for your loss. I know you will carry on her 'good nature and sense of humor'.
During this time, please remember:
In life, Friends multiply the Joy and
divide the Sorrow.
My thoughts are with you.##imported-begin##Shirley Nilson##imported-end##
To cousin Raymond and all his family.
You lived many years with a wonderful wife and mother. You have great memories to hold on to. I sure you already see yourselves being a bit like her, who you admired. She always seemed to proud of all of you. Perhaps she is looking down at you now with warmth and pleasure.##imported-begin##Aloys Turck##imported-end##
Grandma, you were there for me at times of trouble and you always lent and ear to listen to problems and give advice. You will forever be in my heart and in my memory. I love you so much and will remember everything we've ever done, especially playing cards and listening to stories.
Love you forever,
Abby##imported-begin##Abby Ellis##imported-end##
Thank you Ruthann. You took care of everybody, including me, and in a most gracious manner. You came from great parents who mean so much to me and my family. You married a great man whose quiet manner I surely enjoy. And I'm glad you had a delightfully large family of kids whose company and laughter I enjoy. You were a wonderful cousin to Dad (Lynn) and cousin-in-law to Mom. My thoughts and prayers are with Ray and all the family.##imported-begin##Clark Barnes##imported-end##
I have good memories of Ruthann. All "jolly". Everytime I saw her she seemed to be in a good mood.
She really touched my heart when my own mother died last year and Ruthann sent me a card of condolences.
Till we meet again, Ruthann! Now you're free of worldly burdens! I can see you young again, dancing with angels among the clouds.
God bless Ruthann and the family and friends that miss her.##imported-begin##Maria Eugenia Valenzuela##imported-end##
Thank you everyone for your loving support that was so strongly felt over the past few days.
We are, indeed, sadden by our mother's passing but also know she is in peace. As we are speaking, she is probably sharing her children's stories, humor, handicrafts, music and books with the angels.
