Roy F. Quinn's Obituary
Roy F. Quinn, age 95, formerly of St. Clair, passed away July 10, 2018. He was born on November 23, 1922 in Zanesville, Ohio. He served his country with the U.S. Army in World War II. He married Georgette Pare' on April 23, 1949 in New Lexington, Ohio. She preceded him in death on June 18, 2004. He worked as a chemical engineer at the Diamond Crystal Salt Co. in St. Clair. He retired on July 1, 1988 after 39 years of service. He was a lifetime active member of the St. Clair Lions Club . Roy loved to play euchre, and was an avid fan of the OSU Buckeyes and the Cleveland Indians.
He is survived by his children; Jim (Christine) Quinn, Peggy Quinn, Michelle Quinn, and Jackie Quinn. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Jenna Bensinger, Erin Newman, and Brett Quinn. He was preceded in death by his daughter; Pat Bensinger.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17 at L.C.
Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair. Visiting hours will be from
6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the St. Clair Lions Club.
