Richard J. Siemen's Obituary
Richard J. Siemen age 75 of St. Clair Twp., died Tuesday, May 3. after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born November 25, 1935 to the late John and Beulah Siemen. Dick served in the US Air Force, and while stationed in Europe
played for the service football team. He married Joan Jowett on September 17, 1960, and worked for Detroit Edison, retiring as a supervisor in 1997.
Dick and Joan were foster parents for many years, he was an active member of
The Marysville Booster Club and an avid Marysville Football Supporter.
He worked for the elections for St. Clair Twp., and enjoyed woodworking.
Dick is survived by his wife Joan, his children, Teri (George) Butler,
Paul Siemen, Lisa (Todd) Robinson, Laura (Steve) Burak, Jack siemen, Bryan (Jennifer) Siemen, Tim Siemen ; grand children Nathan, Mathew
Andrew, Danny, Brett, Brady, Bella, Ava, Kailee and Thomas; his brother’s
Jack, Ray, Bob, Jerry and sister Audrey. He was preceded in death by his brother Chuck and sisters Eileen and Rita. According to Dick’s wishes. Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held Saturday at 10 AM from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair . Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic church or Kids In Distress.
