My father in law has passed and I won't see him again until I too pass and meet him in heaven. He leaves a loving family here on earth, but joins his family members in heaven who have been waiting patiently to re-unite with him. Now I will need to wait patiently until we are re-united again and we can finally finish that rocking chair that we have both been working on for several years....I guess it will need to wait a few more years. Our deepest sympathies to all of the Siemen family. I feel honored to have known Mr. Dick because he was such an incredibly nice, gentle man. We shared many good times with him in Morgan City. I still have some woodwork that he made for me. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Dick was a wonderful man to grow up with. He was always helpful with our boat racing team, Phoenix Racers. First one up and last one down, always helping and getting us out on the race course with all of the kids and my Dad. He was quite an inspiration as a father not only to his own natural kids, but his adopted kids and the childern in their foster care. We will miss him and have been better for having him a part of our lives. What a great friend to have in a person's life.
