Richard C. Schwartz's Obituary
Richard C. Schwartz Sr. age 87 of St. Clair died Wednesday, March 3, 2004. Dick was born November 28, 1916 in Detroit to the late Richard Schwartz and Anna Weid. He was a veteran of WW II serving as Sergeant in the Army in the Pacific Theater. He married Geraldine Westrick April 12, 1941. Dick worked as a custodian for East China Schools retiring in 1982. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the K of C, the American Legion and the old CRC in St. Clair. Dick is survived by his wife of 62 years Geraldine. His children Thomas (Judy) Schwarz, Great Falls, MT, James (Phyllis) Day of National City, MI; Richard ( Susan) C. Schwartz; St. Clair, Julie (Joseph) Elsholz; Maple Valley, WA; Catherine (Larry) Lukovich, Clarkston, ,MI; and Kelly (Gerald) Silvas, Marysville, MI. Many grand, great grand and great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by brothers William Schwartz and Henry smith and sister Anna Genaw. Visitation Friday 2-9 Pm from the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St. Clair with Rosary at 8:30 PM . Funeral mass Saturday 10 AM from St. Mary’s, St. Clair. Burial in St. mary’s Cemetery. Memorials to St. John’s Hospice.
