Hi Dad, Happy Birthday in a few days! It falls on the day after Thanksgiving this year. Our first Thanksgiving without Mom. We are going to Kelly's and having ham because we can't stick to tradition just yet. Kelly cooks a mean ham though, so it's OK. You and Mom will be celebrating your birthday and Thanksgiving together this year. Enjoy Mom's pumpkin pie, and eat a piece for me. I can almost taste it now. Hi Pa, Well the wedding has come and gone and it was wonderful! The kids are now enjoying their honeymoon on Maui and are spending a few days visiting the family in Hana. They will be bringing home such wonderful memories! I sure missed you at the wedding Dad. It was the first real milestone in my family that you weren't here to share, but both the boys wore their necklaces and kept you close in their hearts. Together again Dad. I know you were waiting on the other side of the door and when it opened you walked her to the center of the dance floor where your favorite waltz was playing. I can see you two happily gliding across the floor and I smile at the thought of it. So happy to be together again. It's what Mom wanted. Many times she spoke about being ready to go. It was hard to hear and even harder to accept but her strength and conviction in her last days is a gift she gave to each one of us kids. She is our hero, my hero,
