Richard Kieppe's Obituary
Richard N. Kieppe, age 88 of Venice Florida and St. Clair, Michigan, died Thursday, October, 1, 2009. Richard was born April 21, 1921 in Lansing to the late George and Edith Kieppe. He received his Undergraduate Degree from Michigan State, where he played football, and his Masters Degree from Stanford University and served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. Richard married Shirley Simmons on August 10, 1945 in St. Clair and she died March 14, 2009, in Venice, Florida. He was employed in sales for Ferndale Fasteners.
Richard is survived by his daughters, Judy (David) Nelson, Karen Kieppe,
Janis (Andy) Nelson and Linda (Steve) Biewer; 14 grand children, and one sister Kathleen Strong.
Cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held Saturday, 11 AM
In the First Congregational, UC of C., St. Clair. Arrangements by L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice or The Ralph Young Fund at Michigan State University
