I grew up next to the McCormicks on Waterloo St. It was the Best Neighborhood ever! Lots of great families and special times. Will remember the fun there.....Forever known as 'Jimbo'.
Lifelong friend of the family will be dearly missed. I first got to know Jim as a drummer in his short-lived garage band days in the 60’s. Then, in the early 80’s, found out that Jim was living in the house next door to our newly purchased home. We raised four boys together as close neighbors and friends. Jim and Jane outgrew their house and moved to Marysville. Years later, they moved back to St Clair, and we re-connected, picking up our friendship without missing a step. Jim was always smiling and could put anyone into a happy mood; and Jim never complained about his problems or pains. Rather, he was genuinely concerned and always offered to help anyone else who was in need. His hearty laugh will be missed by all who knew him. Our sympathies and prayers go out to his entire family.
Rest In Peace Good Friend. Hrant and Michelle Hratchian
I worked with Jim for a short time at FOC. He was always smiling and had a great sense of humor. I am so sorry for his loss and will be saying prayers for strength, comfort and peace for all those that love him.
Oh my God. I worked with Jim for quite some time and sincerely enjoyed he and Jane. Prayers to the family at this very difficult time.
I would like to offer my condolence to the family. I worked with Jim for many years at the FOC. My fondest memories of course we're all the laughs we had. I used to type Jim's letters. Every now and then Jim would write out a letter of what he really thought, of course they were on point and hilarious. Underneath would be the actual letter. I know he struggled with his health for many years so I am happy he was blessed to spend years seeing his grandchildren grow. RIP Jim, I'm sure Jane was waiting at the gates.
