Bob Macdonald
We were Herb's neighbors for 20 years. He was the first one to welcome us to the neighborhood. I'm proud to say he was our neighbor and our friend. Once past the gruff exterior, Herbie was a gentle soul who would do anything for you. He was fiercely proud of his humble beginnings and loved his job of supervising display crews for the Detroit Auto Show, the Masters and in Las Vegas. He loved his family and his beloved dogs Bailey and Sophie. We had many, many conversations in his garage, solving the world's problems over a cold Labatt's Blue. Herb was well known for having the greenest grass and the finest manicured lawn in the neighborhood. We golfed together on many occasions and not a round went by, without him reminding me of his two hole in ones. Herbie was a fixture in our neighborhood and in my life. I will miss you greatly.
