Dorine M Blain's Obituary
Dorine Mae Blain died, Thursday, May 28 2015 at home with her family by her side.
Dorine was born September 15, 1924 in Detroit to the late Avery and Sylvia Dandron.
She was a longtime waitress in many restaurants in the Algonac area and also a bookkeeper for many years at Black River Country Club. In her retirement years she enjoyed working as a food demonstrator in many grocery stores in St. Clair and Macomb Counties until she was 80 years old.
She loved spending time with her family and her fur babies. She had a love for shopping and she never missed a good sale especially at the grocery store. She also loved her high heels, the Lawrence Welk Show and she never turned down a good dessert.
Dorine is survived by her children, Cheri (Thomas) Malleis, Fred (Barbara) Blain, Shirley (John) Babcock, Scott (Florence) Hatcher, Stephen (Georgina) Hatcher, and Stacy (Ralph) Giese. Grandchildren, Deborah (Jeffrey) Drexler, David Golden, Jacob (Michelle Perez) Blain, Joshua Blain, Matthew (Naomi) Babcock, Kevin (Jill) Babcock, David (Imelda) Hatcher, Timothy (Lauren) Hatcher, Robert Hatcher and Cory Hatcher, great grandchildren, Zachary and Sydney Drexler, Kirsten and Eva Babcock, Jackson and Carter Babcock, Shay Patterson, Kiana Hatcher, Aimee and Alicia Cutcher her foster grandchildren, Gwendolynn, Jerall and Sebaston, her dear friend and caregiver, Yelena Way and her faithful fur babies Chip and Jessie. Also her sisters in-law, Betty Dandron and Doris Blain, brother in-law, Edward Blain and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased in death by her first husband, Clarence (Jake) Blain, her second husband, Derald B. Hatcher, brother, Avery (Bud) Dandron, son in-law, Michael Golden, sister in-law, Carol Blain, brothers in-law, Robert Blain and Donald Blain.
Dorine’s family would like to thank Blue Water Hospice Nurses, especially Nurse Jean, Chaplin Joe and Muscial Therapist, Mindy for their very compassionate care both for Dorine and her family.

Visitation Sunday from 1-7 PM in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home. Funeral Service Monday 12 Noon in the funeral home. Burial in Hillside Cemtery
