We have many fond memories of Dorine. We first met Dorine when she lived next door to my parents. After Jake and our mother passed away, Dad and Dorine developed a friendship and then a loving relationship beginning in 1983. Over the next 32 years we got to know Dorine very well and have many fond memories of her including:
Dad and Dorine enjoyed many activities together, they loved dancing, playing golf, traveling to Hawaii, the Philippines, Florida, Niagara Falls, and many other fun locations.
Dad and Dorine were very moral and went to church on a regular basis. Dad sang in the choir and Dorine always said she thought our father had a wonderful voice. We always felt the goodness in their hearts.
Dorine gave our father warm wonderful care. She maintained an exceptional home and we always felt welcomed with good company and great meals when we visited. Many times we joined families together in these activities where we got to know each other quite well.
Dorine always expressed love for her children and their families. She was a positive influence and we always felt her kind and caring feelings for us. Doreen did a wonderful job as mother and grandmother.
Dorine lived a meaningful 90 years. She lived her life fully and was an important part of our lives. Although we will miss her greatly we know she has gone to a place where there is no pain or discomfort and in a place full of love. God bless you Dorine and may God hold you close in his hands.
Love, Shirley and John Babcock
