Willmond Bill Allen's Obituary
Willmond “Bill” B. Allen age 83 of St. Clair died Tuesday, January 6, 2008.
Bill was born August 20,1925 in St. Clair to the late Willmond and Mamie (Pauly) Allen. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the Marines and was retired from Ford Motor. Bill was a member of American Legion, Charles Hammond Post 382, St. Clair, VFW Post 140, the 40/8, St. Mary''s Church and the St. Clair K of C.
He married Rachel McWherter September 9, 1944 in San Diego.
Bill is survived by his wife Rachel, two sons, Bill (Karen) Allen and Rick (Rita) Allen; grandchildren Dan (Stacey) and Shaun (Tara); his sister Norma Thomson and two brothers Jim and Jack Allen. Bill was preceded in death by his brothers Donald, Eldon, and Kenny, and his sisters, Pauline, Jean LaGrow, and Audrey Polen.
Visitation Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, with rosary at 7 PM. In state Friday at St. Mary''s Catholic Church, St. Clair, from
9:30 AM till mass at 10 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorials in Bill’s name may be made to the Salvation Army. Arrangements by L.C. Friederichs & Son, St. Clair.
