William Denn Stark's Obituary
William Denn Stark, age 83, of St. Clair, passed away January 10, 2025. He was born March 25, 1941 to the late Russel and Vera Stark. Bill served his county with the U.S. Navy for 4 years being honorably discharged. He married Karen Salter in Detroit on August 15, 1970. Upon being discharged from the Navy he then went to work as a tool maker then was an automotive designer for General Motors where he retired from after many years.
He loved going on fishing trips with friends multiple times a year to Lake Simcoe in Canada, boating on the St. Clair River, taking walks with his wife Karen in the woods at Lakeport State Park and many other state parks. He also cherished the time he got to spend with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Karen; children, Victoria Lee and Greg Stark; grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Matt, Elzabeth, 10 great grandchildren; siblings, Joyce Nichols, Sondra Paquette along with several niece and nephews.
Bill is preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Stark.
A memorial service will be held on Monday January 13, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home with visiting from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to wishes of the family. To leave a message of comfort visit www.lcfandson.com
