William H. Williams IV "Bill Bills"'s Obituary
William H. Williams IV “Bill Bills” age 53, of St. Clair, passed away unexpectedly on December 10, 2025. He was born in Terra Haute, Indiana on August 6, 1972. Bill graduated from Frankfort Military High School, Frankfort Germany. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 3 years during Desert Storm. He married Catherine “Cat” (Martinez) Williams on February 22, 2002.
Bill was a volunteer firefighter in St. Clair, MI. That motivated him to pursue a career in health care. He went on and received his EMT certificate, and through hard work and dedication Bill earned the position as supervisor for Supervisor for Special Events. Bill loved what he did, in getting to work at large events at Little Ceasars Arena, FOX, Comerica, Meadowbrook, Freedom Hill, and Pine Knob. In getting to meet numerous people including, Elton John, Katy Perry, and Phil Collins to name a few. Bill took great pride in his work, and enjoyed sharing his knowledge to apprentices and often trained people work as an EMT.
When he was not working, Bill was a music enthusiast, who enjoyed listening to all genres, especially Lindsey Stirling. He even sidelined as a DJ for weddings, graduations, and friend gatherings. He was a history buff, who was determined to continue to learn. He would spend numerous hours watching the History Channel. Bill was an avid Detroit sports fan. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, especially taking sporadic road trips to enjoy beaches all over the country.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Cat Williams; son, Tyler Williams, parents, Mary Jo (Thomas) Lund, Bill (Sharon) Williams III, daughters, Kaela (Robert) Gifford, Ashlyn Williams; grandson, Owen Gifford; brother Robert Lund and children Rayne, Maya; brother Ryan (Jessica) Lund and children Finn, Lennon; half-siblings Toni Nevitt and Brian Williams, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 18th at 11:00 a.m. at L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Wednesday, December 17th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. as well as from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service on Thursday.
