Thomas Edward Groves II's Obituary
Thomas Edward Groves II, age 42, of Port Huron, passed away March 9, 2023 at the family home in St. Clair after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma. He was born November 1, 1980 in Dearborn to Thomas Groves and Barbara (Triplett) DeCrease.
Thomas loved to travel, was an avid Detroit Lions fan, never missing a game. He was a manager at Texas Roadhouse and the employees loved him. Even though he was a hard critic, he took care of his employees. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone who was feeling down. He had the best sense of humor and could make anyone laugh with a joke or a movie quote. He enjoyed computer gaming and new technology. Thomas loved to cook and explore new dishes, although he would be the first to admit he was a terrible baker. He appreciated the time he spent with his son Kayden and all the big gatherings with his family.
Thomas is survived by his loving son, Kayden; parents, Barbara (Russ) DeCrease, Thomas Groves, fiancé Jaclyn Miller; sisters Rachel (Greg) Wold, Charlene (Charlie) Brown, along with many step siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank (Barbie) Triplett.
