Thelma E. Maedel's Obituary
Thelma E. Maedel age 87 of St. Clair passed away Monday, April 2, 2007. Thelma was born November 30, 1919 in Detroit to the late Otto and Bessie (McGahran) Sell. She graduated from Grosse Pointe South High School in 1938. Thelma married Frederick Ray Maedel March 29,1941, they lived in Grosse Ponte Park and moved to St. Clair in 1948, Fred died November 19,1983 . Thelma is survived by her twin Daughters Marilyn and Carolyn Maedel, cousins and many dear friends. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce and Bernice Sell.
Cremation has taken place with a memorial service Thursday at 3 PM at the Chapel at Richmond Cemetery. Arrangements by L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home. The family would like to thank Rivers Bends II Assisted Living and St. John Hospice for Thelma’s care and support to the family, and memorials may be directed to River’s Bend or St. John Hospice. Thelma was a loving and caring daughter, sister, wife and mother, Love and God Bless.
