Stephen James Lutz's Obituary
Stephen James Lutz, age 58, of St. Clair, passed away on April 9, 2025, after a 3-year courageous battle with cancer. He was born on September 9, 1966, to the late Charles and Isabelle Lutz. Stephen worked as a factory worker for several years. His latest employment was with Pregis. Stephen took pride in his work. He loved his job and the people that he worked with. He looked forward to going to work each day and being around his co-workers. When he was not at work, Stephen enjoyed a simple life, he found peace in being outdoors. From sun-bathing, tending to his garden, to making sure the shrubs around the house were trimmed perfectly. As long as he was outdoors, he was happy. Stephen was an animal lover but had a soft spot in his heart for cats, he cared for several cats throughout his life. He was an avid University of Michigan Football fan. His father was a season ticket holder and would take him to the Big House to attend games when Stephen was younger. He appreciated the little things in life, Stephen lived his life the way he wanted, which was simple, surrounded by those he cared about most.
He is survived by his sister, Theresa Young; nephew, Johnathan Young, as well as several special family members and friends.
