Sidney James Toms' Obituary
Sidney James Toms, age 80, of St. Clair, passed away at home on January 23, 2024. He was born on September 13, 1943 to the late James and Mildred Toms. Sidney honorably served his country in the United States Marines for 6 years. He married Barbara Jean Askins, who preceded him in death in 2012. Sidney worked for Budd as a metallurgy supervisor for over 30 years. He was a longtime member at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. Sidney was an avid traveler. Who enjoyed traveling all over the world, especially going on cruises.
He is survived by his children, Christine (Michael) Sharon, Matt (Kerey) Toms, as well as special grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son, Mark Toms.
