I have lovely memories of Aunt Shirley. From spending weekends with her when I was young to her letting me cut up all her magazines so I could cut out the paper dolls, to our family arriving one Christmas Day and she was so upset because Lori had cut her own hair and Aunt Shirley had to cut it in a pixie to minimize the damage with a few bald spots remaining, to later her sacrifice to care for Nani. I teased her on more than one occasion that some day we would meet in Heaven, me, pounding on the door to be let in and she would be sitting front and center in the coveted seat right in front of God. She had a beautiful, giving soul and her memory will always be in the hearts of those that loved her.
