Roy M. Zimmer age 84 of Marysville died Saturday May 10, 2003. Roy was born in St. Clair April 12, 1919. He married Mary Pung June 24, 1939 in St. Clair, Mary
died, January 19, 1996. Roy worked for 30 years for Grand Trunk Railroad. He was a veteran of WW II , a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion, the Moose, and St. Christopher’s Catholic Church, Marysville.
Roy is survived by his daughter Joyce M. Westbrook, Sons Ron Zimmer,
Donald J. (Denise) Zimmer, and James Zimmer. Beloved friend Betty Bond.
Grandchildren Kimberly Horn, Patrick & Gary Westbrook, Ron Zimmer Jr.
Don Zimmer Jr., David & Alcia Zimmer. Great grandchildren Tyler Horn, Jordan Westbrook, Charlie & Alex Zimmer, and Bret Zimmer
Roy was preceded in death by his wife Mary, Sons, Allen and David, Sisters,
Edna Zweng, Bertha Zweng, Grace Currier, and Brother Ed. Zimmer.
Visitation Monday from the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, 2-5 and 7-9 PM
Rosary Monday evening at 7PM. Tuesday Visitation at St. Christopher
Catholic Church, Marysville 9 AM till Mass at 10 AM, the Rev. Art Baranowski
Officiating. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorials to the American Heart Association
