Roy G. Wade's Obituary
Roy G. Wade age 85 of St. Clair died Sunday, January 1.
Roy was born January 12, 1926 in Pontiac to the late Harold and Anna Wade. He was a veteran of the US Army, and He married Mildred Gingrich on June 3, 1950. Roy was a Michigan State Trooper for 26 years and then worked for Metropolitan Life for 10 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, St. Clair, The Masonic Evergreen Lodge, The Algonac VFW and the Marysville American Legion. Roy was a former member of the Sandusky Volunteer Fire Department and the St. Clair Harbor Commission. He was also an avid University of Michigan fan.
Roy is survived by his wife Millie, two sons, Paul (Nancy) Wade of St. Clair and Mark (Elaine) Wade of Lawrence, Kansas. Grandchildren Ben, Heather, Paul and John ,with six great grandchildren and sister Frances Bredow. Roy was preceded in death by his brother Harold Wade.
Visitation Thursday 5-8 PM in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home.
In sate Friday at the First United Methodist Church, St. Clair from 10 till service at 11. Burial Hillside Cemetery. Memorials to St. John Hospice or First United Methodist Church.
