Royce Williams' Obituary
Royce Williams, age 82, of St. Clair, passed away July 4, 2024. She was born January 25, 1942 on the family farm in Dwight Township, Michigan to the late Harry and Beatrice Lasceski. Born and raised on the farm, Royce’s father taught her how to drive tractor and till the fields at the age of 10.
Royce was a career bookkeeper for a variety of businesses. Royce was proud of the dream home she and her husband, Jerry, designed and called home for 25 years. Throughout the years she was very fond of her pet cats. Royce also enjoyed tending to her flowers, reading and was said to be the best dancer in the thumb. Her family will always remember her excellent cooking skills. Royce and Jerry also travelled the world extensively, most memorable was their cruise on the maiden voyage of the Queen Mary II.
Royce is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jerry Williams; daughter and son in law, Lori and Ron Earl; grandchildren, Jacquelyn Boberg and Lucas Earl; great grandchildren, Kennedy and Benjamin Boberg; sister, Delphine Rutkowski; two nieces and one nephew and her cat, Garfield.
Honoring Royce’s wishes no visitation or services will be conducted.
Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society of St. Clair County SNAP.
