Rosemary M. Distelrath's Obituary
Rosemary M. Distelrath age 84 of East China, died Tuesday, February 14.. Rosemary was born in Detroit, May 5, 1921, to the late Alex & Katie Umlauf. She was a member of the Adrian Dominican order for seven years teaching in Chicago. Rosemary married Bernard Distelrath in 1952 and he preceded her in death in 1991. She worked for Chrysler for 35 years and was a member of Providence Hospital Auxiliary and St. Mary’s Catholic Church and she also attended Holy Cross.
She is survived by her sisters Anna Marie Kronner and Margaret Dietlin, her Sister-in laws Bernadine Distelrath, Justine Osterland and Mary Umlauf. 33 nieces and nephews and many great and great great nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Bernard she was preceded in death by her brother Gerald and an infant brother and sister.
Visitation From the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM, rosary at 7:30 PM Friday.
In state Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church from 9:30 till Mass at 10 AM. Burial in St. Mary’s
Cemetery. Memorials to St. John’s Hospice.
