Ronald R. Horton's Obituary
Ronald "Ron" R. Horton, age 84, of Port Huron, formerly of St. Clair, passed away April 7, 2021. He was born in Detroit on April 6, 1937 to the late Joseph and Ann Horton. He proudly served in the Korean War with the United States Air Force. He married Cinda Campbell on November 24, 1973.
He sailed the Great Lakes aboard the Adam E. Corneielis and the Detroit Edison. Ron later worked at the Diamond Crystal Salt Co. and retired from AMP Industries.
He enjoyed golfing, bowling and fishing. Ron was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and enjoyed all the memories made with his family. He will be greatly missed. He was their Super Hero.
He is survived by his wife; Cinda Horton, his children; Tammy (Ray) Miller, Laura (Russ) Phillips, and Jeff (Miranda Goodman) Horton.
He is also survived by his grandchildren; Joey and Jacob Miller, Hunter Bordeau, Logan, Zoee, Xander, and Jakobi Phillips, and Elijah, Justice, Kalexe Horton, and Cedar Silverthorn along with nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by brothers; Ralph Horton and Richard Horton.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St. Clair. Private family services will be conducted.
