Ronald H. Brenner's Obituary
Ronald H. Brenner, age 87, of St. Clair, passed away May 10, 2026. He was born on January 31, 1939 in St. Clair to the late Henry and Dorothy Brenner.
He married Sharon Kiekbusch on October 2, 1965 and they enjoyed 60 wonderful years together.
Ron proudly served his country with the U.S. Army. He earned his Bachelor Degree and went on to become a Civil Engineer and retired from the City of Clawson in 1996.
Ron cut many lawns, trimmed many trees and did general lawn maintenance in St. Clair for several years. He was also very active in the community, he was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair serving as Chairman of Board at one time. He also served as Past President of the St. Clair Historical Museum and enjoyed doing the annual cemetery walk at Hillside Cemetery. He was also a Past Commander of the Port Huron Power Squadron and was a member of the Wills St. Clair Auto Museum in Marysville.
Outside of his community activities he enjoyed antique cars and traveling to car shows throughout the state and spending time at the family cabin in Lewiston.
He is survived by his wife; Sharon Brenner and nieces; Terry (Kevin) Maas and Sandy (Richard) Rekar. He is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister; Betty J. Fenner.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 15 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours will be Thursday, May 14 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St. Clair and Friday at church one hour prior to the service.
