Dear Eisen family,
I was saddened to learn of Mr. Eisen's passing last month. I remember him well as one of the leaders of the church of my youth, St. Peter''s Lutheran and a friend to my parents, Arnie Sr. and Jean Metz. I also have many memories of my peers, all the Eisen kids from Luther League get-togethers. As I am a military retiree myself, I noted with interest Mr. Eisen/s military history. Thank you for your service Rollie. I'm sure you served honorably during WWII as did my Dad, Arnie Sr. You folks were, indeed, the Greatest Generation. You saved the world and for that, we could never repay you. Tell my Mom and Dad and Sister Coralie hello for me.
Much love,
Arnold E. Metz, Jr.,, Captain, USAF-Ret, Charleston, SC
So very sorry for your loss🙏
Prayers for all may he RIP

Rollie and Lois moved into their new home on Vine St. the same week as my mom and dad did. They have been next door neighbors for 67 years. Rollie has been a good friend to our family for all those years. He will be truly missed. Our heartfelt sympathy to the Eisen family. Carol Butlin Sustrich and my mom Betty Rocker.

So sorry to hear of your loss. l was awed when l read the obituary about his service in WWll. To be chosen to be a member of Gen. Pattons honor guard had to be something that he and all of you can be very proud of. Being a history nut l would have liked to talk to him about his experiences. Thank you for your service Rollie.

So sorry for your loss. I remember him helping Gary and I build things in his garage when we were just kids. Always there to help out and teach us a few things.
