Robert Leo Kuntz's Obituary
Robert Leo Kuntz age 80 of St. Clair died Monday, June 9. Bob was born in Toledo on April 12, 1928 to the late Joseph and Margaret Crowley Kuntz. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Bob married Margherita Jean Buscemi in 1953.
He worked for the Detroit Fire Department for 22 years as a chemist with the Arson Investigative Unit, serving as an expert witness and taught Fire Science.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair, the American Chemical Society and the IAAI and the German Men’s Singing Society
Bob is survived by his wife Jean, children Margaret (Greg) VanTongeren, Joseph (Shirley) Kuntz and Kurt (Lorese) Kuntz and five grand children Christopher, Laura, Desi, Morgan and Sean. He was also preceded in death by his brother Joseph .
Visitation Thursday in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home from 3-8 PM with Rosary at 7PM. In state Friday at St. Mary’s, St. Clair from 9:30 AM till Mass at 10 AM. Memorials to Covenant House
