Robert L. Borne age 65 of St. Clair died Wednesday June 12, 2002. Bob was born July 5, 1936
In Alpena to the late August and Nellie Borne. Bob was a graduated of Michigan state University and
was a retired Manger of Administrative Services for the United States Postal Services. He married Carol Vollstaedt on January 3, 1969.
Bob is survived by his wife Carol, son Jason Borne, Sister in law’s Barbara French, Nancy (John)
Leroux, and Karen (the late John) Vollstaedt. Many nephew and nieces and great nephews and nieces.
Cremation has taken place with no visitation scheduled with arrangements by the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 14 at 1 PM from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, St. Clair. Memorials in Bob’s name may be made to the church or wishes of the family
