Richard D. Pilibosian's Obituary
Richard D. Pilibosian age 77 of St. Clair passed away Monday, November 20, 2006 after a long battle with cancer.
He was born December 23, 1928 in Detroit to the late Misak Der Pilibosian and Hrepsima Konchguolian. Richard married Helen Korosy, September 13, 1952. After living in Detroit for their newlywed years, they moved to Romeo were they lived for 32 years. Upon retiring from GM in 1983 after 30 years as an engineer they moved to St. Clair in 1987.
Richard was passionate golfer who made golf clubs which helped him achieve his 3 holes in one.
He was a member of the St. Clair Country Club where he enjoyed golfing with his “$10 action group” buddies
He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 52 years, Helen, his children Michele , Richard and Marc Pilibosian and Linda Kluger: grand children Kenny Kluger, Kristine Steece and Heidi Pilibosian; great grand children Anthony Jordan, Heather Ramilez, Andrea Kluger and Adam Kluger.
His caring sisters-in-law Velma Clarke and Rosalie Phillips and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and lifetime friend George Dip. He was preceded in death by brother Sam Phillips, sisters Mary Perov and Vicky Neil.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 25 at the L.C Friederichs & Son Funeral Home from 11 AM till 1PM when a memorial service will be held.
