Richard A. Decker's Obituary
Richard (Rick) A. DECKER, age 57, returned to his Heavenly Father Friday November 5, 2010 after fighting a long illness.
Richard was born January 26, 1953, in St. Clair, Michigan. He was the son of Helen and the late William Decker of Marine City.
Richard is survived by his wife Louise and their three children, Lisa (Jeff) Edgington, Eric and (Gillian) Decker, and Emily Decker.
He was further blessed by his four grand children, Easton, Julia, Ariella and Liviana (Edgington).
Richard is also survived by his mother, Helen Decker, five sisters; and five brothers; Richard worked for gear manufacturing companies and was a Mechanical Genius. In 1994 Richard began his own company Decker Gear Inc. of Port Huron. Richard was a brother in the Knights of Columbus, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Fair Haven. Richard was an avid pool player in the APA at Ron’s Roadhouse in East China. Visitation Monday from 5-8 PM in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St.Clair, with prayer service at 8 PM. In state Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair from 9:30 AM till mass at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Mary’s School, St. Clair
