Richard E. Schneider's Obituary
Richard E. Schneider, age 77, of St. Clair, passed away at home on April 16, 2026. He was born on September 24, 1948 to the late Edward and May Schneider. Rich was a graduate of St. Clair High School. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force for 5 years. During his time overseas, he met his future wife, Kyehwa Pak. They were married on April 13, 1971, Kyehwa preceded him in death in 2007. Rich was a proud member of the American Legion St. Clair Post 382. In his spare time, Rich would be found outside tending to his vegetable garden, his flowers around his house, or sitting in his chair, enjoying the outdoors and music. Rich was a hard worker, who cherished the time he spent with his family and friends, his selflessness and generous spirit will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his sons, James Schneider and Michael Schneider; sister, Donna Belyea, as well as special nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Visiting hours will be Monday, April 20th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at L.C, Friederichs and Son Funeral Home. Military honors for Rich will conclude the night at 7:30.
