Richard LaCroix's Obituary
Richard LaCroix age 69 of Highlands Ranch, Colorado formerly of Marine City, lost his battle with Melanoma, Wednesday, March 4, 2015
Richard was born in St. Clair to the late Walter and Mary LaCroix on May 23, 1945. He owned and operated MC Plumbing for 30 years.
Richard is survived by his wife Catherine, son Rich (Beth McCready) LaCroix, daughters Mary (Barry) Lohr and Barbara (Joe) Pennington, stepsons Chris (Jill) Waelens, Corey (Sara) Waelens and Craig (Julie) Waelens,3 grand and 5 great grandchildren, 8 step grand children (who all will remember or hear of their Papa sitting at the bonfire telling tall tales and Indian stories ), brothers Jerry (Mable) and Jon (Glenda) LaCroix and sister Gloria (Randy) Shantz., brother in law Ted Topper
He was preceded in death by brother Walter( late Pat) LaCroix and sisters Shirley (late Paul) Downey and Diane Topper
Cremation has taken place . The family will receive friends Saturday, March 7 from 10 AM till 11 AM when a memorial service will be held in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St.Clair. Memorials may be made to Melanoma Research. Arrangements by L.C. Friederichs & Son
Richard will be remembered as a caring, kind, and loving husband, father, sibling and friend. He enjoyed the little things of life, listing to birds singing, water flowing, the gentle breezes that our beautiful world has to offer.
