Renee Tunison's Obituary
Renee Tunison age 65 ,of East China died December 12, 2008. She was born September 3, 1943 in MT. Holly New Jersey to the late Julius and Madge Malcan. Renee received her MSW from Oakland University and was a social worker with Catholic Social Services of St. Clair County. She married Jim Tunison in 1965 in Mt. Holly, New Jersey. Renee was a former board member of the Girl Scouts, and a member of St. Clair Women''s League, the St. Clair River Car Club and St. Paul''s Episcopal Church. She was actively involved in supporting people with cancer in St. Clair County Area.
Renee is survived by her husband Jim, her sons Michael of Los Angles, Brian (Yumee) of New York, New York, grand son Spencer James Tunison, her brother Jay Malcan of Midlothian, Virginia, and sister Madge Malcan Connor of Greenville, South Carolina. Cremation has taken place and the family will receive friends at the L.C. Friederichs Saturday from 2-8 and Sunday 1-4 with closing prayer at 4PM , the Rev Glenn Stone officiating. The family will hold a memorial tribute this summer in Renee''s honor. Donation in her name may be made American Cancer Society, St. John''s Hospice or the Girl Scouts.
