Raymond Rossi's Obituary
Raymond F. Rossi of St. Clair died February 7, 2015. Ray served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked in the Insurance field for 34 years until health issues brought on retirement. He continued to maintain a positive and cheerful attitude. His motto was “sure, why not” when asked to join an activity or try something new. He enjoyed the History and Discovery channels, a good cowboy or war movie. He was a voracious reader and could quickly speed through word search puzzles. He looked forward to Bingo days, especially if he won! Family and friends gathering, visiting and reminiscing of the good ole days was something he looked forward to doing. He’ll be remembered for his easy smile and gracious ways, there was always a quick “please” and “thank you”.
He is survived and dearly missed by his caring wife of 34 years Winnie Short Rossi and their son Michael, his children John, Patricia and Ray; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; his brother Henry (Doris) Rossi and their children Msgr. Frank, Lynn, Debbie, Laura, Karen and their families as well as other relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place and the family will receive friends Friday, May 29 ,
at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 415 N 6th, St. Clair , from 10:15 till 11 AM when a memorial mass will be said, Reverend Fred Bodde officiating.
