Rachel M Allen age 83 of St. Clair died Wednesday September 2, 2009.
Rachel was born in Nashville, TN on September 10, 1925 to the late William and Zela McWherter. She married Willmond “Bill” Allen on September 9,1944 in San Diego and he died January 6, 2009. Rachel was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and active in many Veteran''s activities with her late husband Bill.
Rachel is survived by her two sons Bill (Karen) and Rick (Rita) Allen;
grand children Dan (Stacey) and Shaun (Tara ); great grand son Jaden;
Sister-in-law Norma Thomson and brother-in-laws Jim and Jack Allen.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by he step father
Edward Thomas.
Visitation Friday from 3-8 PM in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home with Rosary at 7:30 PM. In state Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church from 9:30 AM till mass at 10 AM. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorials to St. John Hospice
