Phyllis Rocker's Obituary
Phyllis Rocker, age 83, of St. Clair died Saturday, April 5, 2008. She was born September 21, 1924 in St. Clair to the late Ervin and Rose Schueneman.
She worked for Michigan Bell Telephone and then as a secretary at St. Clair High School. She was a life member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Clair.
Phyllis married James Rocker on July 17, 1943 in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Clair, and he died September 9, 2007.
She is survived by her sons Gary (Linda) Rocker of Davidson, MI., Dennis (Barbara) Rocker of China, Mi., and Jay (Paulette) Rocker of Hudson, WI.,
14 grand children, 13 great grand children, her Sister Lois (Kenneth) Leverenz,
Sister-in-laws, Betty Rocker and Dorothy Schueneman. In addition to her husband and parents, Phyllis was also preceded in death by her brother Carmen Schueneman and grand son Bryan White.
Visitation 2-9 PM Monday in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home St. Clair.
She will lie in state Tuesday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Tuesday from 10 AM till service at 11 AM, the Rev Roland Troike presiding. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Peter''s Lutheran Church, St. Clair
