Pete Komp's Obituary
Pete Komp age 60 of St. Clair died Thursday, February 19, 2004.
He was born April 3, 1943 in Detroit to Jeanette Florine Fillon and the late Charles (Bud) L. Komp.
Pete served in US Air Force from 1962 to 1967. He retired from the Detroit Free Press in 1989. Pete married Betty Bazemore, December 31, 1990.
He is survived by his wife Betty Bazemore, His Mother Janet, Daughter Janet Marie
Komp, Son Breeze (Colleen) Rusnell; Grandchildren Cody and Sierra, Step-Mother Olivia Komp, Cousins Doug and Nelson Manare, Aunt Audrey Manare, and Uncles Bill Kerentoff and Karl Komp. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by an aunt Loretta Kerentoff. The family will receive friends Saturday, at the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St. Clair from 10 AM till
11 AM when a memorial service will be held. Memorials in Pete’s name may be made to the Blue Water Hospice
