My memories of Aunt Pat are from my childhood years. I recall being fascinated by the fact that Aunt Pat and Uncle Ron worked together for many years. I also loved the idea that they took dancing lessons together! I know Aunt Pat did a great job in staying active both in various sports and community and church events. As a young girl I spent weekend nights at their family home in St. Clair Shores. I remember on a particular Saturday borrowing one of my cousin's bicycles and going for a ride in what was an unfamiliar neighborhood. It was a relatively new housing development and the homes all looked alike to my untrained eye. I got lost! A scouting party was sent out to find me and show me the way home. Another memory is surrounding Thanksgiving dinner at Aunt Pat's house. Because the kids birthdays were close to the holiday we celebrated together on Thanksgiving. It was great to have a choice between birthday cake or pumpkin pie! Love to all the family. Martha A. Golay (Hart)
