Melvin Carl Walters' Obituary
Melvin Carl Walters, age 87 of St. Clair died Wednesday, May 13, 2009.
Melvin was born December 17, 1921 in St. Clair to the late William and Lillie Walters.
He married Irene Edna Erdman November 11, 1944 in St.Clair.
Melvin was a truck driver and grounds keeper at St.Clair Golf Course. He enjoyed bowling with the seniors in St. Clair. and was an avid golfer.
Melvin is survived by his wife Irene Edna Walters, his brother Harold Walters and sister Florence Sass, sister-in-law Verda Walters, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Norman and Raymond Walters, his sisters, Alice Walters, Frances Taylor, Evelyn Emig and Inez Abbott. Private family burial at Hillside Cemetery has taken place. Memorial to the American Caner Society. Arrangements by L.C. Friederichs & Son, St. Clair.
