Mel was always fun to set and talk to with all the knowledge that he had. He was always kind and generous to the people around him. I really enjoyed his company and friendship. He surely will be missed...

What a happy and caring Mel was, but serious about his work.
Your mother was delightful and loving. I remember how very excited she was when
their house had her favorite color put on it: :-)
Whenever we drove out to their house in St. Clair, we knew it would be full of love and laughter. They were great hosts when we visited them in Florida....you talk about two happy people! We could only stay one day/night because they were so popular, they had
more people coming in to visit!
I know how sad you must be, but I suspect you are also rejoicing because the two of
them are now back together again.
I am smiling as I write this message remembering all they did and were.
Weren't we all lucky to have them in our lives!

I’m sorry for your loss Ricky, Debbie & Robert. I will always remember him fondly. He was so nice to all of us noisy kids running around all of the time. It was a great neighborhood to grow up in.
