We are very sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. We will never forget our years in St. Clair and especially all our neighbors on Vine Street. With deepest sympathy to your family from the Scott family.

I was so sorry to hear about Maynard. He was a good friend of my mom, Betty Sayers. I have fond memories of working with him at Immanuel’s sauerkraut dinners. Sending comfort at a very difficult time for all of you.

I lived on Carney and Vine Street and it was the best in the 70's! We had lots of kids on our street and we all seemed to get along. Some of us would go over and visit with Mr. and Mrs Fenner and their daughters Terry and Sandy. Mr. Fenner always had a smile and a wink for me, he made me feel very special. He always greeted me with a "Hi specs" (I wore glasses) I am blessed to have known such a special man.
Maynard was well liked by all of us in the Chuck & Florence Brenner family. I particularly liked his quiet humor. When I was doing genealogical research on the Brenner family, I asked him about his Fenner name. He told me it meant "royalty" and if I wanted to genuflect when I came into his presence that was O.K. We'll miss him, but I know he's having a great time reuniting with his brother Lewis and sisters Joyce and Joan there on the other side. Graduating is difficult for us, but oh so wonderful for the graduate. Well done Maynard!
