Mary E. Farrington's Obituary
Mary E. Farrington , 93, of St. Clair went to be with the Lord on Tuesday November 7,2006.
She was born to the late Louis and Theresa Kar on October 5, 1913 in Flushing, MI.
She married Russell Farrington on October 8,1939 at St. Christopher’s in Marysville.
Mary spent her last six years with loving and compassionate care at the Medilodge in St. Clair.
She graduated from Port Huron High. She worked as a devoted mother, grand mother, and great grand mother. She was a wonderful care giver and friend. She was active at St. Joseph Catholic Parish.
She was also a parishioner at St. Christopher’s in Marysville and St. Mary’s in St. Clair
Mary is survived by daughters Mary Louise (Jim) Pulaskey; Linda (Tom) Acton; Sue Gerlach and
Fiancé John Dunn and Anne (Curt) Olsen, a son David (Laura) Farrington. 18 grandchildren; 14 great grand children and several nieces and nephews including special niece Joanie Siemen. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Gene (Rheta) Kar, Steve (Ann) Kar,Louie (Grace) Kar, her sisters
Anne (George) Bielis, Helen (Red) Lathrop and Erma (Karl) Jowett.
Visitation Friday at St. Mary''s Catholic Church from 11:30 AM till mass at 12:30. Arrangements by L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Medilodge of St. Clair or St. John Hospice
