Marsha M. Birch's Obituary
Marsha M. Birch, age 79, of St. Clair, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on June 25, 2023. She was born in Detroit on September 16, 1943, to the late Frank and Lorraine Casady.
Marsha’s favorite time of year was Christmas time. She loved having family over to celebrate the holiday as well as giving everyone their gifts. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her granddaughter, Aliyah. Her compassion and care will be missed by all that knew Marsha. Her daughter, Wendy made a point to let her to know, “Momma, I’m always going to be your baby girl”
She is survived by her daughter Wendy Whitelaw; granddaughter, Aliyah Whitelaw; niece and nephew, Paul and Keri Skorka, whom she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Barry Birch; son Todd Whitelaw; and sister Christy Woods.
Cremation arrangements with L.C. Friederichs Funeral Home, St. Clair. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, July 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. In honor of Marsha being a dedicated donor to St. Jude’s Childrens research hospital, the family encourages any memorials be made out to St. Jude’s in Marsha’s name.
