Mark Daniels' Obituary
J. Mark Daniels age 56 of St. Clair died Thursday, October 23, 2008. Mark was born May 1, 1952 in Steubenville,Ohio to the late John and Ruth Daniels.
Mark married Sue Scharnweber on September 23, 1972. He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Clair, the St. Clair CRC and the St. Clair Theatre Guild since 1971, starring in many productions. Mark was a United States Registered swim official, and officiated at the High School regional and national level, the picture is of Mark and Peter Vanderkaay, at a meet refereed by Mark ,where Peter set a World Record.
Mark is survived by his wife, Sue, his daughters Bethany (Dan) Trudeau and Kerri (Keith Cortez) Daniels; grand children Benjamin and Evan Trudeau; his sisters, Lisa (Ken) Devault and Susan Daniels, sister-in-law Kay (Marv) Ashton and brother-in-law David (Carole) Scharnweber, special friends, Rich DuBay, CRC members, Bob and Bill Scharnweber, Brian Moss, Don Barnum, Terry Duffiney, Keith Campbell, Jim Shafran, Hrant Hratchian and Bob Kerrin, officiating friend Chuck Cahill and his four legged friend Murphy.
Cremation has taken place and the family will receive friends Sunday 6-8 at the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home and Monday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Clair, from 10 till 11 AM when a memorial service will be held, Pastor Roland Troike officiating. Memorials may be made to the St. Clair CRC or St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
