Marilyn Harrison's Obituary
Marilyn N. Harrison, age 81 , of St. Clair, Michigan died August 11, 2011 in Fort Gratiot, Michigan.
She was born on February 25, 1930 in Wyandotte, Michigan, daughter of the late Harold and Lillian Holmes. Marilyn attended Lincoln Park High School and Mary Grove College. She married William G. Harrison on May 19, 1950 in Flat Rock, Michigan. Marilyn and her husband Bill lived in the St. Clair area from 1983 until moving to Florida in 1996 and returning to St. Clair in December of 2010.
While living in the St. Clair area, Mrs. Harrison was active in the Port Huron Musical, as past President and volunteered her time for the Port Huron Hospital and the Port Huron Museum.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 61 years William G. Harrison of St. Clair; two sons, Capt. William G. (Joan) Harrison Jr. of Springfield, VA, and James C. (Julie) Harrison II of Port Huron, MI; three daughters, Katherine M. (Larry) Belinc of Carliton, MI, Patricia A. (Eric) Sattler of Trenton, MI, and Marilyn C. (Thomas) Vaughn of North Pole, AK., 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation will be at the L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, 214 Trumbull Street St. Clair, MI from 1:00 pm to 6 pm on Sunday, August 14, 2011 with rosary at 6 PM. In state Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair from 9:30 AM till mass at 10 AM, the Rev Greg Deters officiating Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Cemetery, Flat Rock, MI.
