Marie M. Sayers, age 78, of St. Clair, passed away June 3, 2010. She was born September 28, 1931 to the late Albert and Mildred Smith of Marine City. She married Bud Sayers on June 12, 1948. She is survived by her husband Earl “Bud” Sayers ,her children, Bonnie Hamilton, Peggy (Gary) Simons, Diane Emig, Harold “Punky” Sayers, Lorrie Schigur, David (Lorrie) Sayers, Jim Sayers, Tamie (Jim) Loxton, Patti Barton, Sharon (Erich) Eckelbarger, Nancy Pickett and Steve Sayers twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son Kenneth Sayers, her parents and eleven siblings, a son-in-law and two grandsons.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held, Saturday, June, 12, 2010, 11 Am, at the chapel at Rosehill Cemetery, East China, MI. Memorials to American Cancer Society or Donor’s Choice.
