Margaret Ellen Sabon's Obituary
Margaret E. (Gilbert) Sabon went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 7, 2005. She was
Born on December 10,1925 to the late Jabec J. and Mildred Gilbert. Margaret married her beloved husband, Edward John Sabon on September 15, 1945 and he died January 6, 1997.
Margaret enjoyed life, she danced the night away at the Blue Water Senior Center and Cherry Beach Center. She was a volunteer at the St. John’s River District Hospital, St. Clair and Francophone Ministries for Christ, Port Huron. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, St. Clair and the United Methodist in Mission, TX, where she spent her winters at Bentsen Grove Park. Margaret also was a member of the Rainbow Girls, Dearborn, MI, the Eastern Stars of St. Clair and the Red Hats, McAllen, TX.
Margaret is survived by her daughter Diane (Austin “Al”) DeLaney. Grandchildren Jason (Katie)
Blanchard, Michael (Erica) Blanchard and Lacy DeLaney, 4 great grandchildren, Sister-in laws, nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter Kathleen Marie Sabon and brother Ralph Gilbert.,
Visitation 1-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home. Visitation Monday
at the First United Methodist Church, St. Clair from 1 PM till service at 2 PM. Memorials to the Gideon’s.
