Margaret G. Nicolai, age 94 of China Twp, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015 surrounded by her family. Margaret was born March 21, 1921 in St. Clair to the late
Edward and Mary (Schweihofer) Stier. Margaret worked for Chrysler in Marysville for a time. She owned Nicolai Bakery. Margaret married Robert C. Nicolai on
Nov.26, 1946 and he died Oct. 4, 1985.
She is survived by her children Robert (Viola) Nicolai Jr., Gordon (Barbara)
Nicolai, Mary (Ralph) Paquette, Janet (Dennis) Rylander and Roger (Debra)
Nicolai 17 grand and 8 great grand children also survive. In addition to her husband , Margaret was also preceded in death by children Nancy (Joseph) Lisee, Victor (Ava) Gotautas and Joseph (Kathy) Novelli.
Cremation has taken place and family gathering Thursday from 2-8 PM in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, with scripture service at 6:30 PM. Memorial Mass Friday at 6PM in St. Mary's, St. Clair. Memorials to St. Vincent DePaul of St. Mary’s. Arrangements L.C. Friederichs & Son
