Lucy Rahmeyer's Obituary
Lucy Rahmeyer of St. Clair died Friday April 29,2005. Lucy was born December 29, 1916 in Lawrenceville, Illinois. She married Larry Rahmeyer in 1941 and he died in 1995. Lucy was a register nurse and former president of the New Haven Foundry. She was former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Macomb and presently belonged to Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair were she was very active in the children’s programs at church. Lucy was honored in 1999 as the Grand Marshall of the St. Clair High School Homecoming Parade, and she enjoyed opening her garden to visitors. One of twelve children, She is survived by her sister, Marie Ducharme, several nephews and nieces including Bob and Barb Ash, many dear friends, her church family and her loyal care givers.
Visitation at L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home , Sunday from 3-8 PM and Monday from 2-8 PM.
Visitation Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran church from 10 AM till service at 11 AM. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Memorials to Immanuel Lutheran church
